Patrick Wellever Patrick Wellever joined the staff of The State News as a photographer in the fall of 2005.

He spent the summer of 2005 on an internship with Traverse Magazine, capturing the natural beauty of Northern Michigan on film.

In 2006, he ventured farther afield to work on a personal photographic project in rural Romania. The results of that endeavor are showcased in his portfolio.
